Gaming GTA 6 - everything we know so far

 GTA 6 has been officially revealed, with the debut trailer now having been released. We now know that the game will be coming in 2025, and that it is indeed set in Vice City.

                      WHEN WILL WE HEAR MORE ON GRAND THEFT AUTO 6?

 A huge amount of information on GTA 6 was leaked last year, forcing Rockstar to remove hefty amounts of early-development footage from all over the internet. The gameplay contained in the leaks was clearly showing GTA 6 in a pre-alpha state, so aside from some broad strokes, it's still difficult to tell what the gameplay could be like at launch. In terms of upcoming games, it's absolutely one of the most highly anticipated by players all around the world.

GTA 6: cut to the chase

GTA 6 will launch sometime in 2025. This was revealed in the game's first trailer. Aside from a year, we don't have any other specifics on when the game will launch. We'll have to wait for more info.

                                                       GTA 6 TRAILER 

The GTA 6 trailer was revealed by Rockstar on December 4, 2023, after it leaked online. The trailer was initially scheduled for release the following day, but timelines were shifted. You can check it out above, in all its sun-drenched glory. It's 91 seconds long, and introduces us to Lucia, one of GTA 6's main protagonists. You'll also get some gorgeous shots of Vice City beaches, bars, and even an alligator.

   

                                   WHAT SONG IS USED IN THE GTA 6 TRAILER?

Now that we have the first GTA 6 trailer, we can dig down into what it all means. The song that plays over it is Tom Petty's Love is a Long Road. This teases the themes of the game, which clearly focuses on a couple in love and on the run. Heartbreak and tragedy could be on the cards here, as well as a bit of romance amongst all the shootouts.
